HTML Email and SMS messaging were used to reach out to leads and current customers of ONIT Home using the platform Iterable.
Goals: to increase revenue by providing our leads with the most relevant services and deals in a timely manner, and to build brand awareness and trust by providing valuable information.
SMS messages and hand-coded HTML emails were built to either be part of an automated messaging workflow or to be sent as a one-time blast campaigns.
Depending on lead source, users were added to various automated messaging workflows. This would allow us to reach out to new leads immediately with relevant offers, and provide them with valuable content over time while they were subscribed.
Email campaings were tested against each other in order to optimize design, copy, and subject lines. In the example emails, after running 4 A/B tests, open rate increased from 10.68% to 21.51% and click rate increased from 0% to 0.74%. These emails were sent to older leads without much expectation of click through rate, but it allowed a higher performing campaign to be chosen for new and more engaged leads.
Using Iterable's dashboard, Call Tracking Metrics, and Django, data was collected for open rate, click rate, unsubscribes, calls, and forms submitted. This data is used to forecast leads, track and improve messaging performance over time, and to watch for trends such as a volume from a lead source increasing or decreasing.
